Grand Bordeaux Tasting first held in Chengdu

Grand Bordeaux Wine Tasting of the 2007 vintage sponsored by Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux (UGCB) was hosted at Shangri-La Hotel in Chengdu, Sichuan on March 11. Journalists of China Wine News learned that over one thousand wine franchisers, wine agents and wine-lovers from all parts of China got together to celebrate the grand tasting.

It was said that more than 600 bottles of wines of 99 categories were provided by 85 vintage wineries in Bordeaux. In addition, representatives of these wineries also appeared on the scene personally to give a full introduction to their products. What’s more, wine agents could choose the ideal products by direct contact with the manufacturers.
