Changyu wine teams up with Donelli

March 24 -- Yantai Changyu Pioneer Wine (000869) will cooperate with Donelli Vini S.P.A., Italy’s largest sparkling wine maker, to explore China’s sparkling wine market, reports China Business News. Changyu will have perpetual use rights of the Italian brand in China.

Donelli exports to more than 30 countries.

Changyu general manager Zhou Hongjiang said sparkling wine comprises just two percent of total wine sales in China market with annual sales less than 500 million yuan. Sparkling wine’s market share in western countries is almost 20 percent.
