Te Whau's 'BIT' for the people of Canterbury

Te Whau Vineyard is pleased to announce a fabulous fundraiser for the hard-pressed people of Canterbury, at 6.00pm for 6.30pm on the evening of Friday 1 April, at our restaurant. Please accept this personal invitation to a very special evening.

Head Chef Marco Edwardes and his team have put together a six-course degustation dinner, attached, and we have raided the depths of our cellar to come up with an all-five-star line-up of wine matches featuring Quartz Reef, Dry River, Herzog, Fromm and of course Te Whau.

Chef has put the hard word on all of our suppliers, and they have been most generous in supplying produce. As well, our loyal staff are giving their time for free. Consequently all the ticket sales proceeds will go directly to the Red Cross Earthquake Appeal.

It will be a great evening for food and wine lovers, and an opportunity to sample some of the great wines of New Zealand. I went to school and university in Christchurch, and still have many friends there, so it is important to do our “bit” and help support them”. Please note: There will be NO “charity auction” on the night!
