Ingredients
● 1 1/2 ounces London dry gin
● 1 1/2 ounces French vermouth
Glass Type: cocktail glass
Instructions
Shake well with cracked ice. Then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. If you splash some orange bitters into it, the Cornell magically becomes a Dewey; if you add a twist of orange peel to a Dewey, you've got a Racquet Club, which, with Italian vermouth and a dash of Angostura, answers to the name of Hearst.

Nothing more than a saturated martini. Try it. (Sticklers for academic ethics will note that this is in fact a Gibson, as it was originally made, with someone else's name typed on top. Tsk, tsk.)
