Changyu joins hands with Italian sparkling wine giant Donelli

Zhou Hongjiang, general manager of Changyu Wine Group, announced that Changyu will join hands with Italian sparkling wine giant Donelli Wine Company, to exploit China sparkling wine market.

Under the agreement, Changyu will be the exclusive parter of Donelli in China. Donelli is Italy's largest sparkling wine porducer, selling products in more than 30 countries in the world. It has been a Ferrari Formula One’s designated wine brand since 2000.

Statistics shows that annual sale of China’s sparkling wine market is merely 500 millions RMB, accounting for less than 2% of the whole wine market. In western countries , sparkling wine is a high-end wine product, sharing 10% of the total wine market. 

Changyu aims to build Donelli into the largest  sparkling wine brand in China.
