Douglas Singleton appointed VP of Finance for St. Julian Wine Company

Douglas Singleton has been appointed Vice-President of Finance at St. Julian Wine Company of Paw Paw, Michigan. Singleton was with The Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Michigan for 12 years in finance and accounting prior to joining St. Julian in 2009.

Singleton grew up in west Michigan, served 10 years in the US Air Force as an intelligence analyst and received his bachelor’s degree from Hawaii Pacific University in 1990. He received his MBA degree from Michigan State University in 2003. Singleton has three grown children and is engaged to Andrea Terry of South Haven.

The family-owned St. Julian winery, Michigan’s oldest and longest-operating winery, was founded in 1921. Located in Paw Paw, itt is one of 12 wineries to make up the Lake Michigan Shore Appellation – a designated American Viticultural Area (AVA). This year, St. Julian proudly celebrates its 90th Anniversary of continuous family ownership.
