Family reunions for Tibetan Losar

Tibet welcomes its Losar Iron Rabbit New Year on Mar. 5, 2011. All the family members eat "qiangku", a kind of highland barley wine made of Tsampa(roasted highland qingke barley flour), brown sugar and milk dregs during the day according to the traditional custom, China Tibet Online reported.

On the first day of the Tibetan New Year, all the people are in their festival dresses, congratulate to the seniors and say "Tashi Delek" to each other.
Chogyal Dorje from Lhasa enjoys his old age in peace and gets most of his children back home for family reunions this year. He has 6 offsprings in total, 4 of them are biological children, with the other two adopted orphans. All the children have grown up with different occupations, including Living Buddha, college lecturer, driver and businessman.

Rigsang Dorje, his eldest son, is a Living Buddha in Thangling Monastery, Ngangring Country of Shigatse Prefecture. While Chogyal's youngest son is learning techniques of driving trains in Golmud City of Qinghai Province. The boy is looking forward to driving the train back to Lhasa one day.
