Castaldi promoted at Sonoma Wine Company

Mark Castaldi has been promoted to general manager of the American Canyon facility of Sonoma Wine Company (SWC). According to a news release, SWC will be implementing a significant expansion program at the American Canyon facility over the next few months to expand both bottling and crush capacities.

Castaldi, with over 25 years of experience in the food, beverage, and wine industries and a proven tenure of senior level executive management positions, was a natural choice for the position, the release said.

SWC was recently awarded ISO 22000 certification at its American Canyon facility, the international standard of food safety in the ISO quality management series, becoming the first U.S. winery to ever do so, the release said.
