NSW wine busin0esses to get a shot in the arm

The NSW Government has just approved funding to support a Business Mentoring Program designed to help NSW wine businesses.

“Turing your Wine Business Plans into Profits” is the theme of a Workshop and Business Mentoring Program that will be run by Wine Business Solutions. The focus is on turning winning strategy into profitable action. It has been designed to be is suitable both for first time participants and as a follow up to last year’s very popular “Building a Profitable Sustainable Wine Business” program which was also supported by NSW Industry and Investment.

Wine companies participating in the workshop will be presented with global best practice examples along with the tools needed to develop cut through strategy and plan for winning execution. This year’s program will have a greater emphasis on developing action plans based on tools and training provided in the workshop.

Firms participating in this year’s workshop will also receive 8 hours of one on one business mentoring full funded by NSW Industry and Investment.

The NSW Wine Industry Association has been prominent in its campaign to promote the consumption of NSW wine in its home market and analysis of Nielsen is already confirming good progress. Providing NSW wine businesses with the necessary skills to become more competitive is a logical complement.
