Nebraska's York Label company wins 2 awards for liquor labels it designed

OMAHA, Neb. — A Nebraska-based label company is winning awards for some of the wine labels it created.

York Label says it recently won first place in two categories of the World Label Association awards.

The labels York printed for Duckhorn Vineyard's "Decoy" and Diageo's "Jade Mountain" wines were both recognized.

John McKernan, CEO of the Omaha-based company, says the awards acknowledge the creativity and skill of York's roughly 800 employees.

Besides liquor labels, York also makes labels and packages for consumer products, pharmaceuticals and food items.
