Brita launches new recyclable water bottle with filter
Brita Products Company in California, has launched a new Brita Bottle with filter inside that provides consumers to have water on the go.
The BPA-free and recyclable bottle has been launched in relation to the Earth Month and aims to protect the earth from bottled water waste.
Brita Bottle is designed to carry 20oz of water, which is squeezable and reusable.
The Clorox Company brand manager Tad Kittredge said the company knows that Americans are looking for simple ways to make a difference not only during Earth Month, but every day.
"We were inspired to create the Brita Bottle in response to consumers' desire to enjoy great-tasting water on-the-go while helping to eliminate bottled water waste. In fact, one Brita Bottle filter can replace up to 300 standard 16.9oz disposable water bottles," Kittredge added.
The new product is available in blue and green and can be found at retailers including Walgreens, Target, and Meijer. Like other Brita faucet filtration systems and pitchers, the Brita Bottle reduces the odor and taste of chlorine from tap water.
Brita FilterForGood is a movement committed to reducing bottled water waste and raising awareness of how small steps such as using a Brita Bottle or filling a reusable bottle with Brita-filtered water can sustain, protect and preserve our planet.
