Ascentia Wine Estates announces Sale of Buena Vista Carneros, Gary Farrell Winery Brands
Company will refocus on existing premium wines
Press Release (Healdsburg, Calif. – (April 28, 2011) – Ascentia Wine Estates today announced it has sold two of its wine brands, Buena Vista Carneros and Gary Farrell Winery. Boissett Family Estates, located in the Russian River Valley, is acquiring Buena Vista Carneros and Gary Farrell Winery has been acquired by The Vincraft Group, a Sonoma-based wine company.
“Selling these brands will allow Ascentia Wine Estates to reinvest and refocus on the core brands in our portfolio led by Geyser Peak Winery in California, Columbia Winery and Covey Run in Washington State and Ste. Chappelle in Idaho,” said Mike Kenton, Chief Executive Officer of Ascentia Wine Estates.
