Cupcake launches vodka in four flavors
US-based wine and spirits company Cupcake has launched vodka in four flavors including Original, Chiffon, Devil's Food and Frosting in the US.
The new vodka is made using American grain, a touch of grape and natural flavors and it does not use any unnatural sweeteners to avoid making it exaggeratedly sweet.
Cupcake is proud to put its Cupcake name on these four super-premium flavors of Cupcake Vodka.
The company claimed that its new vodka puts an adult twist on a childhood dessert that's become a food fad in recent years across North America and Europe.
Cupcake vodka, as a sweet dessert vodka is specially made targeting the millennial generation or generation next, those of legal drinking age born after the late 1970s, the company said.
According to the company, its a repeat recipe for Underdog Wine & Spirits who also developed Cupcake Vineyards Wines, with flavors like Red Velvet and a cocoa, cherry and espresso Merlot, last year.
Cupcake has also introduced Pinot noirs, and a demi-sec Sweet Pink sparkling wine bearing the image of the iconic cartoon kitten debuted in California last spring, according to The Independent.
The spirits company's other dessert-flavored alcohol includes a range of cream liqueurs by Just Desserts that includes Crème Brulée and Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Cupcake Vodka Original is distilled six times to 'remove impurities' and claims to deliver a mouth-feel described as velvety smooth, with a distinctive texture and finish that mimics the sweet dessert.
The new vodka is available in 750 ml bottle in the US and are expected to be priced at $17.99 per bottle.
