Get a taste of Ara at LIWF 2011

Join Ara on the New Zealand Winegrowers stand (F20) to catch up on the wines and meet their new Chief Winemaker, Jeff Clarke.

With an array of ‘sensory’ jars to evoke and illustrate Ara’s individual style (stones, lemongrass and green olives to name a few), Jeff will be on hand to take you through the Ara portfolio which includes a brand new Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc.

Ara in Marlborough, New Zealand, is a single vineyard estate sustainably producing world-class wines that reflect the uniqueness of the land they come from. Premium and sustainable practices such as high density planting, minimum irrigation, and low yields are at the heart of this very modern estate and the creation of true single estate Marlborough wines. The range consists of:

Ara Pathway - from vines across the estate, offering a balance of New Zealand exuberance with Ara’s own more reserved style.

Ara Single Estate - LIWF 2011 will see the UK launch of a new on-trade label, “Ara Single Estate”, with the 2010 Sauvignon Blanc and the 2009 Pinot Noir

Ara Select Blocks - from selected blocks of vines which bring depth as well as the distinct Ara style to the wines.

NEW Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc – a brand new addition to the Ara portfolio, LIWF will be the first time this wine has been shown outside the winery!
