Vinitaly announces 2012 dates

The official dates for the 46th edition of Vinitaly in 2012, have been announced.

The dates are March 25-28 and to facilitate planning the 2013 dates have also been defined as April 7-10.

The last edition of Vinitaly, set an attendance record: 156,000 visitors, of whom more than 48,000 international (+3% over 2010) from more than 110 countries.

The top ten rankings saw Germany in first place, followed by the United States and Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Austria, countries in Eastern Europe with strong attendance from Russia, China and Hong Kong and a good result for operators from Japan.

The Vinitaly For You and Sol For You events will be expanded with the collaboration of companies, trade associations, the city and local area system - and will open on the Friday prior to the exhibition.
