Luzhou Laojiao builds a primary school

A primary school funded by Luzhou Laojiao Company was completed on April 28, 2010 in An County, north of Sichuan province.

The Sichuan-based liquor company donated 26.8 million yuan ($4.12 million) in June 2008 after the Huagai Primary School was seriously damaged by the earthquake in May.

The new school was designed to withstand an earthquake measuring 7.5 magnitude on the Richter scale. The school holds 36 classes as well as 3,200 students and teachers.
