Wine Australia Corporation board appointed
The new members of the Wine Australia Corporation board have been appointed.
Last week, the Minister for Agriculture Senator Joe Ludwig congratulated the re–appointed board members Tony Jordan, Kate Thompson, Kevin McLintock and Josephine Rozman, along with new members Bill Moularadellis, Brian Walsh and Sue Henderson.
As the Managing Director of Kingston Estate Wines, Moularadellis brings extensive experience in winemaking, grape growing, and sales and marketing both locally and internationally, while Walsh, who is the Director of Strategy and Business Development of Yalumba Wine Co, has a strong background in the wine industry and a good mix of leadership skills, innovative thinking and strategic vision, says Ludwig.
Rozman, who chairs the Knowledge Development Advisory Committee, brings 20 years of experience in wine sales, marketing and management in both domestic and international markets.
According to Ludwig, the new board would draw on the extensive viticulture, wine making, marketing, business, finance and public administration skills of its members to reinforce the corporation’s objectives.
“This board, chaired by Jim Dominguez, has the experience and expertise required to strengthen Australia’s position in the highly competitive world wine market,” Ludwig said.

Ludwig thanked outgoing members Andrew Moore, Mark Purbrick and Natalie Toohey for their contribution to the Australian wine industry.
The appointments were made in accordance with the Government’s open and transparent merit selection process.
