1/3 sampling wines unqualified in Guangdong

Industry and Commerce Bureau of Guangdong Province has recently finished sampling wine sales in the five cities: Guangzhou, Huizhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan and Foshan.

According to the relevant person in charge of sales in the Bureau, this sampling involves a total of 21 enterprises, 96 enterprises, sampling a total of 30 lots of wine products, with a pass rate of 66.7%, excluding 100% label-fault sample, rate of unqualified product is 86.7%. These substandard products mainly are from SMEs. 

Sampling results showed that some wines contain carmine, sodium cyclamen, saccharin, artificial preservatives sorbic acid, of some some have exceeded iron, copper and other heavy metals elements.

The Bureau of prompt consumers to buy wine, with clear mind to select a logo-completed products with high brand awareness. in the choice of different brands of wine, you should carefully compare the components and ingredients, without additives or food additives.
