Hawke's Bay vineyard for sale by auction

A Hawke's Bay vineyard situated in the heart of Hawke's Bay renowned Ngatarawa Triangle is to be sold by auction on Friday 15th July 2011. Mundo Vira a much admired vineyard/lifestyle property comprises 15.6 ha and includes an attractive 250sqm three bedroom homestead set on spacious grounds together with a large barn with self contained flat.

Plantings include a good mix of red varieties, predominantly Merlot along with Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. White varieties include Chardonnay and Viognier. Plantings, trellising and vineyard equipment have all been maintained to a very high standard.

The vineyard has established a sound reputation for the supply premium and super premium grape to Alpha Domus, Sileni and more recently Villa Maria. Grapes sourced from Mundo Vira vineyard were used in the production of Villa Maria’s 2010 Cellar Selection Viognier which won the Viognier Trophy at the recent Royal Easter Show.
