Wenzhou enterprisers registered thousands of wine trademarks within 3 years

Wenzhou wine market is speeding up in recent years. Importers and distributors have shown great interests in registering their own wine trademarks. Up to now there are 1045 wine trademarks have been registered in Wenzhou, with anoter 500 more are in application process. 

Generally, Wenzhou wine importers and distributors are from different fields before starting wine business. They are fond of brand names with foreign language translated into Chinese based on pronunciation. Some of them have Chinese names of local cultural tone.            

Why are the enterprisers in Wenzhou are so interested in wine trademarks: According to Xu Liang, director of Wenzhou Alcohol Industry Association, booming of Wenzhou’s wine trademark is related to fast development of domestic wine market in recent years, which arouse more and more enterprisers entering the wine field.Though there are so many famous international wine brands, yet famous Chinese native brands are relatively much fewer; this is because foreign wine brands normally do not have marketing commercial in China.

However, Wenzhou enterprises are more keen on marketing and brand building. That is why they are willing to invest in their own brands.
