Jackson Family Wines promotes Rick Bonitati to Vice President of Production

In a move aimed at streamlining communications between wineries, Jackson Family Wines announces the promotion of Rick Bonitati to Vice President of Production for their North Coast wineries. In this newly created position Mr. Bonitati will retain the General Manager responsibilities at La Crema and add the supervision of all of Jackson Family Wines North Coast wineries and their General Mangers to his duties.

“Rick brings extensive experience and knowledge to this newly created position” says Hugh Reimers, Chief Operating Officer of Jackson Family Wines. “His insight into the intricacies of winery operations and history with Jackson Family Wines will be an invaluable asset to me in managing the production side of the business.”

During his 17-year career with Jackson Family Wines, Rick has held a variety of positions including 11 years in sales roles, culminating as National Sales Manager for their Artisans and Estates Division. He transitioned to the production side of the business 5 ½ years ago when he accepted the position as General Manager for La Crema and Hartford Family Winery.

In his new role Rick will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production for Arrowood, Atalon, Cardinale, Edmeades, Freemark Abbey, Hartford Family Winery, La Crema, La Jota, Lokoya, Matanzas Creek, Murphy Goode, Stonestreet and Verite wineries.
