Rutini Wines entered China market

Rutini Wines, a famous Argentinean Chateau, co-hosted a recommendation ceremony for its products with Ocean China Argentina International Trade Co., Ltd. at Argentinean Manor in Beijing on March 19. Sol Asensio, Public Relations Manager of Rutini Wines, and wine expert Zhao Fan together presented a detailed introduction of the history and culture of Rutini Wines.
“In 2010, Argentina totally exported 280,000 chests (12 bottles per chest) to China, among which Rutini Wines accounted for 40,000, a relatively large proportion of the market share. We began the Chinese market operation eight years ago, but we still have a lot of work to do due to the lack of comprehensive operation of the market in China.” Sol Asensio told China Wine News.
According to Sol Asensio, most of the wineries in Argentina paid more attention to quantity of production, but things changed in the recent two years, that is to say, quality and favor of the products became the very aspect the concerned most with. Consequently, more and more wine-lovers are taking fancy on the Argentinean favor.
It was said that Rutini Wines was built in 1885, which established itself into one of the earliest wineries in Argentina. Thanks to its unremitting exploration and innovation, it has currently grown to be one of the most successful wine-makers in the country.
Statistics from a VINEXPO survey show that Argentina’s wine exports to China has increased by 799 percent, making Argentina the seventh largest wine supplier in China.
