Charles Shaw Wines win Best of Class, top honors
Top Judges Recognize Two-Buck Chuck, Great Wine Doesn't Have To Be Expensive
06.29.2011– (Ceres, CALIF.) — The Charles Shaw 2009 California Pinot Grigio won Best of Class/Gold Medal and the Charles Shaw 2009 California Shiraz won Double Gold/Best of Class and nine other medals in the results of three wine competitions.
The Pinot Grigio won at the Pacific Rim International Wine Competition and the Shiraz at the New World International Wine Competition. In addition to those two wines, Charles Shaw Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, White Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc have also won several medals in 2011.
In nine years since Charles Shaw wine was introduced by Trader Joe's, over 600,000,000 bottles have been sold.
