The Songling Taipingchun wine, which Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty always drank, is made of prepared rhizome of rehmannia, angelica, safflower, medlar, tuckahoe, longan pulp, pine nut, dried orange peel, red yeast rice, litchi honey, etc. These tonic medicated wines are good for health care and prolonging the life of the old and the weak.
