Cameron Hughes Wine hires Lara Abbott as Public Relations & Events Manager
Cameron Hughes Wine, a modern, international wine négociant, continues to grow its team with the addition of: Lara Abbott, Public Relations & Events Manager; Steve Wiley, Midwest Regional Sales Manager; Rob Muller, Northeast Regional Sales Manager; and Nancy Nealon, Production Manager.

Lara Abbott previously held PR positions with Domaine Chandon and Newton Vineyard, as well as Southcorp Wines (now Treasury Wine Estate) in both Napa and Sydney. She has served as a member of the St. Helena Star Tasting Panel, Wine Institute Communications Committee, and has taken numerous wine education courses at the Culinary Institute of America and the Pacific Rim Wine Education Center.

Working from Cameron Hughes Wine’s Calistoga office, Nealon is responsible for financial and operational production. She ensures best practices in production planning, operations and procurement and works alongside staff winemakers. Nealon has more than 20 years of finance experience, including positions at Francis Coppola Winery & Rubicon Estate, Saddleback Cellars & Venge Vineyards, Milliken Creek Inn, The Charlotte Inn, Mercer Management Consulting and State Street Bank. Nealon has a bachelor’s degree from Simmons College and has completed graduate coursework at Harvard.

Rob Muller joins Cameron Hughes Wine with 16 years of experience. Muller previously was state sales manager for Winebow Boston/Boston Wine Company. Additionally, he was the wine and beverage director, and later general manager, for the renowned Blue Ginger restaurant in Massachusetts. He has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Franklin & Marshall College, including advanced Spanish course work at Universidad de Oviedo in Spain, where he developed his love for wine. He later earned a WSET Higher Certificate in Wine & Spirits from Boston University.

With more than 17 years of sales management experience, Steve Wiley offers an insider’s view of wine in the Midwest region. He was most recently responsible for regional selling at Advantage Wine Sales & Marketing and previously held several senior management positions at Glazer’s Distributors. Wiley attended Ohio State University.
