Wine makers in the Okanagan look forward to sending more of this year's vintage to Asia.
Cedar Creek Winery president Gordon Fitzpatrick says China's growing middle class is developing a palate for BC wine.
He hopes stronger demand from Asia and a growing market among younger North American drinkers will help them stay busy.
It seems the tastes of young consumers are becoming more sophisticated and more are choosing wine over beer or the hard stuff.
