Liquor prices are surging all over China with Shenyang City being no exception because of Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day.

What is surprising is not the hike but shortage good source and some liquors are even in short supply. So expensive liquors are so needed for Chinese consumers? And when some big wine makers said they would raised prices, others are offering "divided payment to customers."

Public spirit makers reported their performance growth reached 57 percent in the first six months. Kweichow Moutai and Wuliangye, two liquor-producing giants in China, said their profit rose 58.31 percent and 48.72 percent in first half.

Chinese wine makers" earnings sharply rise for three years in straight as net profit of parents of those public makers reached 24.06 percent, 30.69 percent and 57.45 percent in the past three years. But the earning surge isn"t ending as profits of Moutai and Wuliangye beat forecast.
