Thousands are expected to attend Kohler's annual Food & Wine Experience.

The event will be held Oct. 20-23 at The American Club Resort and village of Kohler.

Every October for more than a decade, Kohler has turned into a Midwest destination for culinary experiences, featuring expert chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers and mixologists.

This year's festival will include nationally renowned chefs Alexandra Guarnaschelli, Jacques Torres, Charlie Trotter and Andrew Zimmern, according to an event press release. More than 60 fine wines and spirits will be served for sampling, and 20 cooking demonstrations and seminars will be offered. Food from around the world will be prepared and served.

"We are thrilled to share this year's lineup of celebrity chefs, presenters and top wine experts in the industry," said Teo Zagroba, beverage manager for The American Club Resort. "The variety of wine, spirits, cooking demos and culinary experiences to choose from allows our guests to learn more about pairing options in an enjoyable, interactive environment. We are extremely proud of the range of wine and spirits we are offering this year, giving people the chance to enjoy something new or revisit a favorite."

Death's Door Spirits will host a new attraction, the Pig Cheese Cocktail, on Saturday evening. Based in Madison, Death's Door uses spent grains and organic dairy from spirits to raise Swabian Hall Swine. Chef Paul Smitala of Blackwolf Run will prepare a pork-themed menu while guests dine on cheese pairings and cocktails.

Ticketed events start at $21, though many activities and tastings are complimentary. For schedules, prices and to order tickets, visit KOHLERfoodandwine.net or call (800) 344-2838.
