Yang Gongyusheng holds up a sign that reads "Fast for 45 days" in a glass enclosure in Yantai, East China's Shandong province, Oct 18, 2011. The 45-day fast planned by the 38-year-old man is set to break the world record created by US magician David Blain (44 days) in 2003. The 13-square-meter enclosure has been designed with no doors, but has electricity and an exhaust fan, a heater, a telephone, and a laptop. Yang has also stockpiled 14 bottles of wine and 20 liters of drinking water. The fast began on Oct 17. [Photo/CFP]
