Thirvin presents Hendry Wine from Napa Valley at ATO tasting in Beijing
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Thirvin International cosponsored the Great American Wine Pairing with Chinese Food invitation-only dinner on Wednesday, September 21. The event was hosted by Ralph Bean, the Director of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) in Beijing.
The dinner was held at the Gui Gong Fu restaurant in Beijing and was attended by approximately 60 members of the Chinese wine and media community. Fongyee Walker, a Chinese Wine Educator, lead the guests through the food and wine pairing. Thirvin presented the 2007 Hendry Zinfandel Block 28 which was paired with Stewed Venison with crispy onion cake.
