Hong Kong hosts Wine & Dine fest

Hong Kong, Oct 22 (IBNS) Hong Kong, Asia’s world city, will be cooking up an exciting extravaganza of exceptional wines and gourmet delights this year at the 3rd Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival at the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade from 30th October to 31st November.

Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), this annual event will offer connoisseurs many of the world’s most desirable vintages plus delectable dishes from award-winning restaurants, accompanied by live music and cool entertainment set against the stunning backdrop of the renowned Victoria Harbour.

"The vibrant month-long epicurean feast has established Hong Kong as the principal place in Asia to enjoy wines from around the world paired with a delectable array of cuisines created by our local culinary wizzards," said an official spokesperson.

On offer are various food and drink promotions in popular food districts such as Lan Kwai Fong and the quaint seaside village of Stanley.

The city's top hotels and restaurants will also be serving up tempting wine and dine offers.

There are various wine promotions such as Burgundy Week, the HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair and Wine future Hong Kong 2011.
