China’s Oct. consumer prices rise 5.5% from year earlier

Nov. 9 (Bloomberg) -- China’s consumer prices rose 5.5 percent in October from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics said on its website today. That compared with the 5.5 percent median estimate in a Bloomberg News survey of 27 economists and a 6.1 percent gain the previous month.
