Martell Cognac cocktail ideas

If a neat cognac isn't enough for you, mix a delicious Martell Sidecar or Martell Cosmopolitan. Fruit juices set off the younger cognac flavours perfectly.

Martell can be mixed to make delicious cocktails as well as drunk neat.

Purists will say either neat or with a splash of water and/or ice. But cognac styles such as VS or VSOP (eg: younger eaux-de-vie) blend beautifully with fruit juices to make mouth-watering cocktails. Martell Sidecar is a new trend-setting favourite, while the Martell Cosmopolitan is Martell’s take on a modern classic.

10 ml triple sec

1 orange peel

Ice

Put a few ice cubes into a shaker and add the Martell Cognac, lemon juice and triple sec. Shake the ingredients together and pour into a cocktail strainer glass. Squeeze the orange peel over the cocktail.

Martell Cosmopolitan

40ml Martell Cognac

10ml triple sec

10ml fresh lemon juice

40ml cranberry juice

Ice

Pour the Martell Cognac, triple sec, fresh lemon juice and cranberry juice into a shaker. Shake all the ingredients together with ice and strain into a cocktail strainer glass.
