Tsingtao Brewery bought Guangdong Vigor Beer

QINGDAO, Nov 30, 2011 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd. (shse:600600)(sehk:0168) announced on November 30 that it had bought Guangdong Vigour Beer Co., Ltd. located in Shaoguan by bidding but did not disclose specific price.

Formerly named Shaoguan Brewery Factory, Guangdong Vigor Beer was founded in 1987, with its annual output being 150,000 kiloliters. It was once the largest modern beer company in north Guangdong, south Hunan and south Jiangxi.

Tsingtao Brewery is the top beer company in China in terms of sales revenue. The company sold 6.35 million kiloliters of beer in 2010, earning CNY 19.61 billion from its main businesses.
