Pernod Ricard UK appoints senior roles

Pernod Ricard UK has made three senior appointments to its executive committee and senior management group, with immediate effect. Pernod Ricard UK has made three senior appointments to its executive committee and senior management group, with immediate effect.

They are Patrick Venning who joins the joins the Pernod Ricard UK executive committee as marketing director - spirits.

Venning has spent seven years within Pernod Ricard UK working across its portfolio of wine and spirits brands in head of marketing roles which has included the successful integration of brands following the Allied Domecq acquisition and turnaround performances on Jameson and Malibu.

Venning replaces Vlastimil Spelda who has taken a leadership marketing position within Pernod Ricard in Paris.

Phil Corfield is appointed to the Pernod Ricard UK executive committee as operations director after joining the company in March 2011, and Ian Peart has been promoted to channel director, on-trade.

Corfield joined Pernod Ricard UK in 2006 and has been fundamental in driving the Pernod Ricard UK on-trade field sales team and strong growth of Absolut in the on-trade.

Denis O'Flynn, Pernod Ricard UK's managing director, says: "I am delighted to announce these appointments within Pernod Ricard UK, which will strengthen our leadership team.

Pernod Ricard UK recognises achievement and this is demonstrated through these senior promotions from within the company."
