Chinese professionals of wine start experiencing the 2012 Australia Grape Harvest Trip

Following the trip in 2011, this year, a group of 38 Chinese guests-professionals of wine field start the journey on Feb 26 and will be returned on March 6. The group member including importers, distributors, retailers, manager of horeca enterprises of wine industry and media workers, will be going into a dozen of renowned wine regions of Australia, like Hunter Valley, Barossa, Margaret River, Clare Valley, etc.

Ms Lucy Anderson—the director in Asia of Australia Wine Administration—says that all guests are very pleased to become a Australia Wine Ambassador after they come back from the trip and engage in promoting Australian wines in their fields. Australia Wine Administration will establish a network in China for these “Ambassadors” and help them with the promotions.

Beside visiting some famous wine regions, a small group of guests also attend the Sydney Cellar Door Festival on Feb 26, which is jointly organized by NSW Department of Trade and Investment and NSW Wine Industry Association.
