Wine lovers in search of elusive wines including Haut-Brion imperials direct from Prince Robert of Luxembourg's cellar are now able to place absentee bids if they are unable to attend Decanter's exclusive gala dinner.

The charity dinner, featuring wines including Dom Ruinart Champagne 1998, Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion 1990, Chateau Haut Bri文章来源中国酒业新闻网on 1982 and Warre’s Vintage Port 1983, is this year's must-attend wine event.

For those who cannot make it and do not want to miss out on rare wines, as well as money-can't-buy wine trips, Decanter and Christie's have made it possible to place advance bids.

Owner of Chateau Haut Brion, Prince Robert of Luxembourg, has donated four imperials (six litres) from the 2009 vintage. SuperTuscan estate has donated an imperial of Ornellaia 2007 and a personalized visit of Tenuta dell’Ornellaia for two, including a multi-vintage tasting, dinner and one overnight-stay, while Port house Warre's has offered three magnums of Warre’s 1983 Vintage Port, and a trip for four to the Douro, which includes lunch with the owners, and an overnight stay in the Douro valley at a quinta.

Sarah Kemp, publisher of Decanter, said: 'I can't believe the generosity of the wine producers. They are donating exceptional wines on the night as well as providing lots that any wine lover would dream about.'

The Wine Gala Dinner takes place on Tuesday 13 March at 7pm.
