The visit of legendary Sir Gabriel Acha recently to Kolkata, marks a new traits in the Indian beverage industry - with the introduction of unique flavored Spirits and Liquer.
Sir Gabriel Acha is the 7th generation family member running the oldest distillery in Spain “Destilerias Manuel Acha” founded in 1831.
His family has dedicated themselves passionately over the past 178 years to the distillation of spirits and liqueurs in the traditional way. Product recipes and elaboration methods have been guarded secretly and passed down from generation to generation. Through the generations,they have been able to transmit the experience and passion for quality that is still their trademark today.
Currently, they produce a wide range of Vodka, Whisky, Rum and Brandy blended with Vanila, Chocolate, Tea, Wine and all products are 100% natural.
Destilerias Manual Ach, Spain in collaboration with “Nobel Resources” will be launching shortly – “ ACHA WSK” an extra- ordinary Whisky with exotic mix of caramel –to be bottled in India.
In Spain, there is no such thing as a short and quick bite to eat, dinners are long, social events capped off by the “Sobremesa”, or after dinner conversation and a distilled spirit digestive. In more traditional Spanish restaurants, icy freezer-chilled bottles of Pacharán (a liqueur made of Anis Cream and Sloeberries) and Orujo (Spanish version of Grappa) are left on the table after dinner for guests to enjoy as they please.
The Indian partner for this Project “ Nobel Resources” is an Indo Spanish JV headed by Mr Subhankar Ghosh - CEO and Ms Sandra Chinchilla – Executive Director,
Pertinently, under this platform, the brand Vinomotions has been created for commercializing Spanish Wines into India.
