The Xijiao International Agricultural Products Trade Centre New Zealand Wine Pavillion Opportunity

An exciting new opportunity exists for a select number of New Zealand wine producers to sell direct to trade and eventually consumer buyers in China, as inaugural partners in the New Zealand Pavilion of the Xijiao International Trade Centre. Direct Wines is seeking expressions of interest from New Zealand wineries who would like to learn more about this opportunity.
The Xijiao Agricultural Trade Centre in Shanghai is a US$ 300m government-owned facility established to promote trade in agricultural products.It covers an area of 110 hectares and includes phased introduction of 200,000 housing units, two new metro lines and two five-star hotels. In addition it will have its own dedicated China customs clearance and inspection facilities.
The Trade Centre houses both domestic and international pavilions totaling 450,000 square metres. There are ten dedicated international pavilions, including a New Zealand pavilion and this Pavilion is the only International Pavillion to have a dedicated wine display section.
