Wine Business Solutions will soon be holding workshops focused on growing the most profitable part of any wine business – direct to customer sales.
The emphasis will be on how to acquire more customers, improve engagement and sell more wine using the latest free and low cost technology. This program has been a sell-out success in six locations across Australia and South Africa already this year.

This program has been designed to present you with global best practice examples, research and case studies along with the tools you’ll need to develop cut through direct to customer strategy and plan for winning execution. We’ll look at the most profitable direct to customer and online retail growth opportunities. You’ll learn how to manage the corresponding communication channels so as to secure customer preference and optimise returns from customer relationships. This year’s workshop has a strong emphasis on developing individual action plans and practical implementation.
Who’ll be presenting
Peter McAtamney- is Principal of Wine Business Solutions. Peter has 27 years wine industry experience including 11 years in global distribution management and 10 years in wine business consulting. He has worked as a publicly listed wine company MD and is a former Chairman of Wine Marlborough and NZ Winegrowers board member. He has been involved with Global Strategy for some of the world’s most successful brands including [yellow tail], Freixenet and Wine Marlborough. Peter has held board and advisory positions with Australian, New Zealand, South African and Spanish wine companies. He has run workshops and provided consulting in most regions of Australia, NZ and South Africa since 2003. For five years, he taught Strategy, Marketing, Sales Management, Service Marketing and Business Culture as part of the MBA program in the Graduate School of Business at the Uni. of Technology, Sydney.
