New MW boosts Berry Bros total to six

Berry Bros & Rudd now has six Masters of Wine on its staff, following the news that its marketing manager Catriona Felstead MW, has gained the qualification.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
A graduate of St Andrew's University, Felstead passed all three elements of the university first time.
 
 
 
 
 
She started her working life in a Spanish petrochemical company before her love of wine led her into the wine trade first with Oddbins and with Berry Bros. & Rudd, where she has worked for the last five years.
 
 
 
 
 
Alun Griffiths MW, Berrys' buying director, said: "At BBR we take pride in the wine education and training opportunities we give to our staff so we are delighted to learn of Catriona's success. It's a brilliant achievement for her to pass both papers at the first attempt and to complete the dissertation in the face of considerable distractions."
 
 
 
 
 
Catriona will be formally welcomed into The Institute of Masters of Wine at a ceremony in the Vintners' Hall, London, during the Institute's Annual Reception on November 6.
