The wine investment appear not to be suffering in the general financial crisis - quite the contrary, in fact.
As reported by the Bordeaux Blog, quoting the industry service Bloomberg, wine funds are not suffering particularly from the international financial crisis. In fact, many appear to be benefiting from the current poor performance of stocks and shares. The Vinum Fine Wine Fund on Guernsey reports business is "good", and other wine funds, too, report growth in recent months; for example, the Luxembourg-based Nobles Crus fund has expanded its volume by 2,5 million Euros to 13 million Euros in the past 12 months.
