Grand development of wine import first two months 2009, Shenzhen Port(1)

Based on statistics data, 1698 thousand litter of wine has been imported from the Shenzhen port, which increased 54.4% more than the same period of time last year. France is the largest export country and the import quantity from all the supplier countries has been increased.

The market value of these products increased by 1.4 times to 21726thousand US dollar in these two months.

 

 

The characters of this issue are listed as followed;

 

 

1. General trade is the major trading type and re-export trade had increased doubly. The first two months, the general trade of wine through Shenzhen port is 1068thousand liters, which increased 28.5% over the same period of last year. Meanwhile, the re-export trade of wine is 630thousand liters, rose by 1.3 fold.

 

2. Import data for private enterprise increased dramatically, while the same data for foreign invested enterprise decreased obviously. The first two months 2009, the private enterprise imported 1461thousand liters of wine, which is 1.3 times of the first two months of 2008. Meanwhile, the foreign invested enterprise imported 134liters of wine, which has decreased 53.5% of 2008.

 

3. France is the largest export country and the import quantity from all the supplier countries has been increased. January to February, there is 1054 thousand liters of wine had been imported through Shenzhen Port, which is 89.6% more than same period of time last year and is 62.1%od the whole import wine from the world. The same data for US and Australia is 365thousand liters and 149thousand liters, which is increased by 8.8% and 33.4%.

 

 

4. Bottled wine is majored imported product and the liquor made of wine and distilled alcoholic beverage increased sharply. During these two months, Shenzhen port, 547thousand liters of wine is bottled by 2 liter and below. Other 392thousand liters of wine is bottled by 2 liter above.
