These pinks are sweet, but not in a sugary way(2)

Ravines Pinot Rosé (Hammondsport). Winemaker Morten Hallgren has magically transported a taste of Provence to Keuka Lake via this fabulous rosé. The nose will keep Pinot noir lovers mesmerized, and the taste will surely convert any naysayers to the pink side. Enjoy this refreshing wine with a log of Lively Run Herbes de Provence goat cheese, and it will blow your ever-loving Finger Lakes mind. ($15).

Bielsa Garnacha Rosado (Campo de Borja, Spain). Made from 100 percent garnacha grapes (also known as Grenache in France), this wine is cotton candy for adults, minus the sweetness. The perfect summer aperitif for spicy dips, assorted olives, charcuterie, sardines, grilled octopus, and, yes, Doritos. At $10, I'll take two please.

Coteaux d'Anciens "Le Logis du Gouverneur" (Loire Valley, France). Tough to pronounce, easy to sip. Way too easy. Made from the Gamay grape (of Beaujolais fame), the color of this wine sparkles. The flavor reminds me of exceptional terroir. Sophisticated, refined and just a touch snobbish. This rosé is one that I would serve to distinguished guests at a special occasion. It would work for a pork barbecue as well. ($9).

Petit Caprice (Rhone Valley, France). What can I say? The French know rose. This one is a blend of Grenache and Syrah, the premier red grapes of the Rhone Valley. Playful label, beautiful salmon pink color and light refreshing flavor. Caprice translates to "a sudden impulse," which is exactly what I hope lands this in your shopping cart. ($8).

Till next year, wishing you a summer season filled with pinks aplenty!
