Annual Wine Walk At Newport On The Levee

NEWPORT, Ky. -- The fourth annual Wine Walk at Newport on the Levee will be held at the beginning of February, but you can sign up starting Monday.

The yearly walk to benefit the American Heart Association will be from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

Participants can sample a variety of wines from different Levee venues and receive a commemorative Wine Walk wine glass. Free or discounted appetizers will also be available at participating venues.

Participating venues will be Bar Louie, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Brothers Bar & Grill, Claddagh Irish Pub, Jefferson Hall, Mitchell's Fish Market and StoneBrook winery.

All participants must register in advance by calling (859) 291-0550 ext. 15 or 21.

The registration fee is $25 and must be paid to Newport on the Levee by Jan. 27.

Participants must be 21 years of age or older and are encouraged to wear red to show their support of the American Heart Association and American Heart Month.
